Queer & Pride Amsterdam
Queer & Pride Amsterdam, formerly known as Pride Amsterdam, is one of the largest events in Europe and a festival celebrating the freedom to be who you are and love whom you want. For 27 years, Pride has played an important role in the emancipation of the LGBTQ+ community. It stands for ‘being who you are and loving whom you want.’ That hasn’t changed. However, the way people find meaning and participate in the event is different for everyone.
In addition to various parties, there are also film screenings, sports matches, exhibitions, and debates on top; The Canal Parade, on the final Saturday of Pride Amsterdam is not to be missed. The Pride calendar includes more than 300 events;
