Best thing to do in February

This February there will be a few celebration in the city.

Starting with lunar new year and Valentines day.

Chocoa festival

Amsterdam is the largest cocoa port in the world, an important hub for business and for innovative thinking on the sustainability of the cocoa value chains. During the fair, there will be courses, presentations and of course some tasting.

Lunar new year

Dragon year represent good luck, strength and health.

The 10th of February, a parade will be organized by the city. You will find activities and attractions in Nieuwmarkt, Chinatown and Dam square.

For the occasion, visit Fo Guang Shan He Hua temple.

Pancake day

Shrove Tuesday, also known as Pancake Day, is a beloved and delicious tradition.

The Netherlands love pancake, usually the dish is accompanied by a sweet and thick syrup named ‘ Stroop’ and powdered sugar.
