The Tropenmuseum

The Tropenmuseum is a museum about world cultures, housed in one of the most impressive museum buildings in the Netherlands. It is located next to the Oosterpark and dates from 1926. In this museum amazing objects from all over the world can be found, presented both in an extensive permanent exhibition and regularly changing exhibitions. These objects will tell you about universal themes such as mourning, celebrating, decorating, praying or fighting.
