Ijburg is the youngest district of Amsterdam, located in Amsterdam East. It consists of of four reclaimed islannds and is most famous for its Blijburg beach, the place for sunbathers, hipsters and hippies, but also lovers of modern architecture and water sports. All four islands of Ijburg are connected by bridges. There is also a pedestrian and bicycle bridge which connects these islands to Diemen and Amsterdam-East main part and the Central Station of Amsterdam is only 15 minutes away by tram.

On this island you can find a marina with modern restaurants, pubs and nice terrasses, such as Marina club Amsterdam or restaurant NAP with the  fascinating view .

In the harbor of IJuburg area you can find various types of boats which forms a magnificent view. Here you can relax in one of the restaurants with the atmosphere of peace and joy.
